Singer/Songwriter Karlie Bartholomew found out at a young age that the stage was her second home. At the age of seven, she performed for the first time at her elementary school talent show.
With acoustic guitar work in an R&B/folk style and Bon Iver-esque harmonies, Bartholomew creates a style that is her own. Her voice is soulful and pure, with a mix of artists like Tori Kelly and Ingrid Michaelson. Teaching herself to play guitar in high school, Bartholomew quickly began writing songs and performing at talent shows and local open mics. Since then, she has appeared at several major venues in Maryland, including Rams Head Live, Baltimore Soundstage, the Ottobar, and the 9:30 Club located in Washington, DC. Bartholomew enjoys the rush of playing a live show and interacting with an audience.
Bartholomew attends Berklee College of Music in Boston with a major in Professional Music and a focus in Contemporary Songwriting/Production and Performance. She released her first professional EP titled “Words” on June 1, 2015.

Henry Pazaryna - Surf Rhythm
"I was able to see Karlie perform in Glen Burnie, Maryland. She went onstage with just herself and her acoustic guitar. But her performance clearly evinced that was all she needed. Her voice was the epitome of cool and soulful."
Shelby Newsome - Tote Magazine
"Her songs are well-thought-out and have a message."
